Why do I only like the Bad Boys?

I am very attracted to guys that are "bad." I absolutely detest guys that are overly nice, it sickens me. Guys that are too nice to me is nothing but a huge turnoff for me. I know in my head that a nice guy is probably better for me, but I just can't stand nice guys. I really want to know why this is. Please explain.
