Can birth control cause asthma problems?

As a healthcare provider I say listen to your provider. I don't think it's related. You could be having a reoccurance of your asthma, which just happened to occur with your starting the pill. Your provider would be familiar with your history and would be the best one to tell you with accuracy what is right for you. As a side note....if you are smoking ....for the sake of asthma...or taking the pill....you should stop. You can talk to your provider about this relationship. I personally think you need evaluated more for asthma.
