Palin's religion and belief system do not matter in the race...?

I believe political beliefs and religious beliefs are closely linked. Think about it: politics is about determining the right and, theoretically, ethical answers to problems that affect everyone. Religion is about believing in a higher power that lines out moral behavior. When someone's religion endorses bigotry couched in religious morality, there is a huge concern as to how this person would approach civil rights and personal privacy.
