How do I NOT feed a staring dog?

You need to make them go sit somewhere else and not beside you while you are eating. They need to go to another room or area and lay down and leave you alone to enjoy your meals. It may take some repetitive movements from you but in the end they will learn. You need to put them in a sit/stay position where ever you want them to be while you are eating and then go back to the table to eat. If and when they move back to the table, get up and put them back to where they were. You may have to repeat this dozens of time, but don't stop until they learn they have to stay where you put them to wait while you eat.
